Our innovation hubs translate the Alliance’s scientific discoveries into practice to help improve the training, care, and performance of athletes. Each innovation hub has a unique and complementary area of focus, with the knowledge and learnings shared by all.

The Biobank of the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance specializes in the collection and storage of high-quality tissue specimens and live cell suspensions of human muscle, bone, cartilage, adipose, bone marrow, and other tissues. Furthermore, during our decade-long investigations into clinical conditions affecting orthopedic tissues, we collected numerous samples from pre-clinical models, such as the rabbit model for rotator cuff tear.
